Letters of Recommendation

Provided that you have passed at least one of our courses with a grade of 1.7 or better, you can request a letter of recommendation from the Chair VWL VII. The chair provides recommendations for all academic purposes (such as applications for studies abroad, scholarships, master’s programs, PhD positions and graduate schools).

Please send us your request via email and include the following documents:

• Curriculum vitae
• Transcript of records from the examination office (including ranking)
• Graduation certificates (if available)
• Other relevant information (e.g. motivation for the application)
• All relevant forms that we have to submit (please fill out your personal details if possible)

You should also contact us if, as part of an application, you intend to list our names as potential referees.

Please send us all relevant information at least three weeks before the application deadline. We can generally not consider requests that arrive on shorter notice (especially when the usual application deadlines approach). Please note that we might invite you for a personal interview, especially if our team does not know you well.
